I was testing this in practice. I was aiming well right of the fairway. Then I stopped the meter at the first line left of ding. It sorta looked like I hit a draw shot but mostly it looks like I pulled it. The console golf video games you would just put left or right spin on the ball but WGT does not. I was wondering if anyone uses this technique to get around dog legs and if it's effective?

In many instances you have to ding well into the dark blue.

    Here's an

    example

Note wind. Stay on Cam 1. You can see it curve into the wind. Yes, you do lose some distance, but laying up or hitting your next from the rough is to be avoided.

    Hope this helps.

    Good Luck.

Well there's really only one hole that I can think of for this mostly. It's about 240y to the bend. There are big trees on the left so you can't cut the dog leg, much. I need to write down what hole that is and practice it.
