St Andrews 17th, named and famously known as Road Hole. The road lies to the right of the green and catches any errant shots that were pushed away from the clutches of the even more famous Road Hole Bunker. Beyond the road is a wall, possibly a course boundary, beyond which is probably out of bounds.
I'm a golfer and I accept most of the inaccuracies within WGT (see the Heavy Winds thread for proof); the false winds, the inaccurate greens, the bad bounces, but what I don't accept is losing a ball to poor programming. We all know that if you hit a ball into a solid object like a wall it will bounce back... NOT GO THROUGH IT!!!! And the ball should not be lost. That needs to be fixed because that is just plain wrong and downright greedy. You know how to program for hitting solid objects, well they don't come any more solid than that wall on 17.
