    Hey guys,

as I've reached PRO level yesterday problems start to begin: now as I have to hit from the white tees, it seems like I am really having troubles to get any birdie chances on par 4's or even par 5's because of missing length... I am a very beginner but would say I am not too bad in this game - for sure haven't experienced the real difficulties yet. I`m really taking my time to play the best golf I can - in every round. But it seems like my skills are not enough any more, because of the missing length with my driver/clubs? Or simple accept the fact, that I should focus on getting Par's and not bogeys instead of birdies? ;-)

So my question is: Should I buy a better driver/clubs or just play on like this until I am on a higher lvl? I only have 300 credits right now, what would you do?

Thanks in advance and a nice day to all of you : )

    Greetings,Clemens

The first thing you should do, is start doing surveys to get credits. You're going to need to buy equipment to get better, and credits are needed. I recommend surveys, unless you want to spend money.

Here is a lot of good info on my country clubs site on club upgrades:

I would recommend you ditch the hybrid, get 3 wedges of the Clevelands, 26-31, the 3WD at level 30 from our site, and the level 35 putter. I did that, and waited till 48 to buy a driver and 59 to buy irons.

Unfortunately, surveys will be scarce for Austrians as they are for Germans. It might be a better way to invest some Euros in the game. 10-20 € per month are good for a lot of fun!

Aber langsam mit den jungen Pferden!

First question is, do you want to progress? Any choice of new clubs will support this, elevate you to higher tiers and cost you more for new equipment...

The club advice is good once you have custom irons - no real need to put three wedges below the Starter PW of 90 yds.

Second, you don't need many birdies now. With a 72 average, you will proceed to Tour Pro (faster greens there). So, relax.

I propose that you get two short Cleve wedges to replace the $§%$" Starters.
You might then want to use the 3WD as a driver replacement...
The putter, driver and irons are good suggestions, third !quality! wedge to replace the hybrid afterwards.

    Viel Spaß!

Thank you very much guys! Unfortunately there are no surveys available in Austria (you are right, alosso!) - seems like the only way to earn credits is watching short commercials.. I don't wanna spend real money for this game - seems like I have to change some of my goals then... : )

As you guys said: the first step is to reach lvl 30 and buy the R 11 3WD and use this as a Driver... everything else depends on how fast I can earn some "free" credits... I will check your site from time to time MrFunny! Thank you very much for that!

p.s.: Alosso, schön, dass hier auch deutschsprachige Leute unterwegs sind.. ich habe die Hoffnung schon kurzzeitig aufgegeben, zwischen all den Amis :D

    LG aus Österreich!

    Nope!

If credits are scarce, you might want to take a 3WD as a driver replacement - about a third of the price, and double use on the FWs, too.

And, two short wedges are more important than a driver (but, as I said, any new clubs will help to promote you!)
