The game makes courses like 4WD tracks it makes 31 mph head winds when did that ever appear on a real golf course?   Ten foot deep sand pits come on be real, where did they put in that stuff???   Sand pits are where kids play at the local park. Couldn't correct the hieroglyphics on the latter as I haven't a clue as to what he means.

Oy vey!  Yet another semi-literate whinging about the game. And yes ct your standards are slipping. About time you changed your filters maybe? No, not on the coffee maker.

@ Charles (your surname wouldn't be Chaplin perchance?), here's a bunker from the 4th hole at RSG played in the 2011 Open during which winds of 36mph were recorded on the Sunday. FYI, the bunker is 40ft from top to bottom and 21ft at its widest point.

So, how about stop crying like a baby and knuckle down to learning the game as everyone else has. Well some of them anyway. As for me, I'm still in the present tense with a way to go yet.

You are not familiar with UK  links courses:)  St Andrews and RSG can get a lot worse than 31 headwinds:)

Thebigeasy707(  Davey)  Lives in Scotland and he has pictures of the wind at its worse. He said he had to help an elderly guy off the course because the wind was blowing him all over the place. That's how bad it can get. No reachie par 5's in 3 :)

Now look at this tiny one - desastrous though you should think that Rory has played some of these at home.

What a class of champion! He handled the situation with grace, no grimace, no frustration shown!

Yes, he did. And Rory consistently displays class as a champion. I have great admiration for him. Nevertheless, this did take place during a practice round, which makes it a lot easier to not react negatively because the shots didn't mean anything.

I have to agree with what everyone said about Rory.  Even in a practice round it would have made the frustration level rise.  I would guess he made a note in his course notebook that said something like "AVOID THIS BUNKER".

The big danger wasn't in the camera shot for most part ;) He didn't want to air mail it over the green as the bunker on the other side was actually worse!
