I am new to WGT and enjoy it very much;  Yet, I have found that purchased Golf Balls have a limited number of usage before they EXPIRE!  Specifically the Calloway Vapor Balls.   They are great to play with but after so many hits they are removed from my equipment.  This seems wrong and a bit greedy.  Fair enough if you hit it out of bounds then you need to rebuy a ball but to rebuy after so many HITS??

Are there any slow meter balls that can be bought that have unlimited usage?

Real golf balls wear out after a certain amount of use, likewise the virtual balls. As far as I know the only unlimited ball is the free basic one

There are no free balls with better characteristics. I think the selling of balls is one of the major sources of income for WGT.

For you the GI2-S balls are the best deal. With your clubs they work equally well as the Callways . To be more ecact the Callaways don´t work well either when you use Clubs with almost no spin.

The GI2-S last 155 hits. Most Callaway and all other 2.5 dot durability balls last 120 hits. Puts on the green are free.

At this point, you really just need to learn the game. I would just stick with the starter balls. Or play the ones suggested above.

I spend more than I should with WGT. I know balls are a large source of income so how about being fair with membership and having a uniform endurance level with pay to play balls and making it longer than it is now. Why are some ball endurance levels 2 and other 2.5......lets even them all out and maybe increase them to 3.5 or 4

Howeee1 - Different balls in real life last different numbers of hits depending on their construction. Some are one-piece as opposed to multilayered, some have thin urethane covers that break down quicker than other rubber compounds and different balls have liquid, plastic, rubber or even metal cores.

Increasing ball life means fewer ball sales so WGT would have to raise the prices accordingly.

Exactly. And if you hit into the water, or OOB, it's pfffft no matter what.

I've taken to using less expensive balls than the Nikes I previously used, which are going away anyway. The Volviks are a nice compromise, very consistent and it hurts (slightly) less when you lose one.

Thanks for all the replies!  Andreas...  I took your suggestion and have been playing with the G12-S balls.   They are working great!   The Callaway balls are nice but too expensive for me.   I added a nice wedge to my lineup and it is fun to play with the spin that I can get on the G12's.
