    GolfingSeti:
Just finished a round at Pebble Beach with a - 7 on 9 holes played with 2 other players, eligible for next consecutive day bonus, and used a PASS,  and received 330 ( ish ) XP. Should have been over 1,300 XP. Looked around and saw after the round my next consecutive say was in 22 hr 30 min, and to my amazement,  I also noticed I was back to ONE consecutive day played! Impossible..

Methinks that it wasn't this day or game to spoil your CDP but the last day.

Assuming that your MP game did not last more than 1.5 hours, you'll have made the crucial shot for CDP at the beginning of the game. Since this brought your CDP from zero to one, your streak is intact now. Did it indicate 47 CDP XPs?

You'd have to look at the day before because that one may have put you off the streak if you didn't play a "first tee shot of a game" then.

It wasn't advisable to use a CC pass for CDP in a MP game during the old rules (<= discons), and it still isn't because there are doubts if MP players will get it. Better to play one shot(!) solo (with a free pass if you wish).

    Alosso,

Thanks for the feedback and your thought processes is correct. But if you'll glance at my profile and round history you'll also noticed it impossible to have broke Consecutive Days Played on either of those days.

Might also notice I've definitely not played yesterday or today. Believe I'm now closing the book on WGT and moving on to something, anything, even slightly less aggravating.

Please accept my apology.  Looking back at my responses i realize that I went a little over the top.  This was probably due to the number of posts people have made about their CDP problems and the constantly posting of them without ever reading the forum first.

I'm sorry for taking out my frustration with the whole situation on you.  It was neve my intent to jump on you about things, but to point out a better way to approach it and prevent the problem from happening again.

I can certainly undrstand your frustration with this game and WGT, as at times the bugs do make us all wonder why we put up with it. Perhaps deep down we all have a tiny sliver of hope that it will get better, even though alosso constantly points out "This is WGT.  Hope is futile.

That all said, if you leave I hope you can find something that you will enjoy as much as you did when you found WGT 3 years ago, something without the problems that are ar WGT.

Good Luck and go in Peace.

    Phred952,

    You're a good dude, Phred952. No worries.

On the other thing, WGT asks and requires even their long time participating users way too much in the way of dealing with *** for much longevity. I see players ( mostly Legends for some reason ) quit playing WGT all the time. Especially lately. Anyway, one can only go to the well so many times before it dries up. Sadly, that's where I'm at now.

Would feel like a masochist to click the play button at this point.

I fully understand the burnout factor.  i play less now than I did even 3 months ago.  And probably less than 1/2 of what I played 1 year ago.  Perhaps a break will let you re-energize.  In any case take care.

I suspect you're not the only one the new cdp system will help to make fell like that.

No longer can players think "I can get back there in a week", now when it's gone (for whatever reason) it's gone.

Pardon me, I didn't look at it because the time zone differences and the differing time stamps to the games prevent an analysis, as well as the fact that the CDP is granted by the beginning of the game while the score entries are by the final of the games.

Alas, I don't get it what this negligible number should have to do with your joy of playing.

Alas2, each to his own. Have a good time, here or there!
