Hi guys. As many of you, I will complain about something that still happens and makes the game really unfair sometimes. The thing is: with no objetion, clubs should be available depending on average score and tiers, and not levels. It's so easy for a guy to get its own levels paid, not getting a better avg score (sandbagging). It just doesn't make sense guys!. I played with a Master tier guy, who had the same clubs as me, even better balls. And some holes were even 100 yards shorter for him! WGT don't want cheaters, but they raise them and help them grow.

Nah I disagree. While those TM's, M's and TP's may be level 90+ and have as good as equipment as Legends and above with sub 65 scoring avgs, they lack the knowledge and ability to take full advantage of the clubs (outside the driver) and play as good as others. They should have that advantage, because they need it. Play them in Match play, you'll win, even if they have 60 yard shorter holes.

I respect your opinion, but I disagree too. I upgraded my irons and wedges when I reached the Legend tier. It took me like a month or two to learn every shot, how they're affected by wind, release, etc. These guys can get in a higher level, get their clubs (distance and types of shots) and beat you after they get used to it. You not always win. Thanks for your comment!

Don't think I've lost to a single player below Legend once since I've hit this tier, save maybe for one prodigy in my CC.

Everyone TM or below I have beat on understand of the game and how to hit out of different circumstances, atleast so far in matchplay.

I sort of agree with the OP, but the fact is it will never revert back to a tiered club system. The reason it moved away from this is the business model revolves around players upgrading for the better toys the further they level up.

However this topic has been broached many times, with all viewpoints argued. But this model works for the company, so why would they introduce a system that will limit upgrades? Take you for example....you want to get new clubs but you must now grind away.....upgrade now and the incentive is gone!

Yes sandbagging can be an issue, hence why WGT had introduced the weighting into average calculations (lower tier players beating higher tiers and credit tournament wins),

But most genuine lower tier players are that for a reason.....they have not learned the game yet.

The clubs available at lower levels currently is far better than those of us who started a few years ago and thus tiering up has become easier. Add to that, the introduction of red tee games counting towards averages, there are many top tiered players who have a title by default - many of those are easy pickings for lower tiered players rising up through the ranks (and I am not referring to the OP - have not even looked at your profile).
