Re: Meter Speed for Putter

  Have played for a while and the last two weeks I´ve found an remarkable speed change in meter for the putter. No other club affected in the same way.

  In short: Meter speed has increased so high, regardless of used putter, that putting is almoust impossible. It is "take a chance"  and no control whatsoever.

  Tried creating a new account just to see if it was that bad as newbie but that was a dream. Full control again. At the same time I´ve tried several computers and with different bandwith and that does not affect the meter speed. lag may happen but this is not it.

  I do not know if higher levels are supposed to give more of a challenge with higher meter speed but if so, why has no other club been affected in this way,

  Current level 59 and the average score is increasing for every game I play.. Should be the other way.

  Seems to coincide with when you bought the new putter.  I assume (without looking at the specs) it has faster meter speed than starter/beginner putter.

   

  But if going back to beginner putter and it's still fast, could be you need to clear your flash cache.

  He may be on to something though... After looking at the Pro Shop.. it would appear that the putter he uses SHOULD have the same meter speed as the starter.. however after further investigation it shows that the "uncolored" normal tour starter putter (of which the guy has the zebra version) shows one and a half ticks of meter speed while the rest of the "colored" ones all show less than one.. the same as the starter.. so It would leave one to beleieve that either they meant to change them all up to the one and a half tick mark recently and its not showing that in the pro shop.. or something screwed up in the database and now they all show less than one tick (except for the uncolored one) but really hit like theyre 1 and a half ticks... Someone needs to look into that................

  I´ve noticed that wichever putter I use it is more than any other club I ever used. All other clubs works fine (besides my handling of them).

  The last putter I bought after the problem started just to see if that would make any change. And no.. My putting in the game is now worse than my real world putting.

  Never heard of that the Flash cash should (or even could) be cleaned before but I´ll look into that. Anyway, that cash should be residing on local disc and I´ve been experiencing this on three different computers with three equally different internet connections speeds. The lowest my home with 2MB/512k, and the best with 100MB u/d.

  So it does not seem likely to be that cause.
