alosso:
Of all irrelevant numbers in this game, the CC XP contributions are in the top 3 IMHO.
Maybe maybe not alosso.
Give my reasoning a chance here by considering it.
In the old days we could see how long CC members had stuck around by looking at joined date of members.
Now unless you look at each member individually by scrolling over their name (up to 250 times) you have no idea how to determine whether the CC is a high turnover CC or not.
Member "status" is not an indication as some CC owners make recruits instant veterans if they are breathing when they enter.
A CC where 100% of the members have played in the last 30 days (Courteney's rule that I follow), has 50% of its members in it for more then 2 years and quite a number that have been there for 5 years (within a month of the CC being formed) might be one that describes a good our Country Club.
So while CC XPs after level 19 mean nothing after level 15 mean nothing...
The individual that wants to find a good CC could look at CC XPs and, for example:
Look at how many members are over 1 Million CCXPs - from that the person who is thinking of joining a CC could gain some valuable information about the CC.
Think of it this way - the CC XP Contribution number has only been around for 900 days so a CC with say 20% of its membership with over 1 million CC XPs indicates a dedicated core base membership.
Yes, this will fade over time with the new calculations for daily bonus XPs, but in our CC only one member has made it in anything substantially less then the full 900 days.
Of course I cannot speak for other CCs who attempt to lure away high contributing members from other CCs or those CCs who encourage buying CC passes all the time from their members.
I can only speak for my own where we encourage members not to waste credits on passes but to be active, play, and have some fun in this silly game....
