A timeout is if the shot timer is allowed to run down to zero.

Time and out, get it? I suppose it could be a smoke break or to allow the fairer sex to powder their nose, as is is their want so to do.

That's stupid ; if you let the time run out , you should be penalized . You lose !!!

Depending on the option the game setter has chosen, the offender will be disconnected after the 2nd — 7th timeout.

The timeouts are added up through the entire game. When a player has reached the amount set by the game constructor, they will be disconnected. So if the game is set up with 5 timeouts, and you let the timer run out once on each of five holes, consecutive or not, you will be disconnected.

I don't see the big deal.  If someone needs a BRB or has to go fetch more beer they may need a bit longer than usual to play their shot.

Nice to see how open minded and accommodating to the needs of others you are though.  Well done you.

+1 on that Damian. I frequently play with a couple of players, one who really should have an intravenous ale drip fitted and the other has a medical condition whereby he receives no warning as we all normally do and has to leave immediately to attend to business.

Those who regularly play with our group, know and accept this and it is no big deal at all if we are returned to the lobby and it still wouldn't be anything to faff over if we should forfeit the game.

@vjdbbq: I'm surprised that someone from Andhra Pradesh doesn't show more forgiveness and understanding. Perhaps it's an age thing.
