Not sure if this happens to be a problem with anyone else, but this has happened to me a few times since the update earlier in the week.

I line up my putt, calculate the distance and draw the club back. Today I was fortunate to hit the ding, but then the game stalls. Nothing happens. I sit and wait.

As I wait, I pour myself another a glass of Scotch, cook a four-course meal, go for a 10-mile run, read War and Peace cover to cover, and then it hits my shot and I can see the result.

As you can see, I'm exaggerating about my wait times, but it's still a good 2-3 minutes.

Has anyone else run into this problem?

Three minutes is extreme, but I've had up to 30 secs, more than once.

    Not a new issue here.

Funny story. It just happened again to me about 15 minutes ago while putting on the No. 16 green at RSG's. I waited. I checked emails. I cracked open a few pistachios. I went to the kitchen to get more pistachios. As I returned to my home office/man cave, it was just then it started the putt, so 2-3 minutes is pretty accurate.

It's just weird. In the last year since taken up this (computer) game again, I've never had any issues. Not with my meter, nothing. But I'm not complaining...at least not until I can afford to hire a maid/bartender/waitress. Until then, I don't mind the occasional break in the action.

I came on this page to see if anyone else was experiencing this apparently I'm not alone.

No, you're not. Luckily, though, I've played 5-6 rounds today and it hasn't happened.

Sounds like an issue with your internet or wifi, whichever you may be using.

Router, modem, try restarting one or either or both if using, along with computer.  Proper restart order is, shut all off, start in this order, modem, router, computer.  Wait until fully connects before starting the next one.

If using another connected device, you have a problem.

I did have some issues with my Comcast gateway a few months ago. I then did a factory reset and changed the channel to get less interference from my neighbors. Now my wifi signal strength is >-50 dBm, which is excellent, and my download/upload speeds are 60Mbps/15Mbps, which are what they should be too. Plus I've always had a great picture while watching ESPN online. So I doubt it's the router/modem. I've played 6-8 rounds this weekend and it hasn't happened, so here's hoping it doesn't again.
