Re: Error code 1148 The Player is no VIP

  I tried entering the 2/8/17 weekly stroke play tourney and got that error. So I have 2 questions. 1. How do you become a VIP? And 2. Where does it show that it is for VIP only? I only see the name (Wk 6 nation 9 hole single play), the countries it is available in, leader board, and prizes. No where does it say VIPs only.

  You must be a "Nation" member to play. I believe you qualify when you get to level 90 and apply.

  Yep, thats why you got the error code.  @ lvl 41 you are about 450K points away from lvl 90.  So it will be a while.

  Don't forget the other ways:

  Legend tier may be a tad longish for the OP, but the third option includes "buy enough credits" AFAIK. For me, some 50 to 60 $ did it in 2012...

  But, "Nation" alone ain't worth the spending. Today, these weekly tournaments are the only benefit that I can identify. Add an occasional extra free rental weekend...
