Wgt Dev's how about displaying the green speed before we land on the first hole green? In real life you can at least have a practice put but now need to guess power when chipping on to first hole and makes a difference if it is a 13 or 7.9!

The green speed rule is always set by the highest ranked player in the game, unless it is a practice round. Then the host chooses.

    Zio is, of course, correct.

If however you're talking about a tournament rather than a knock about with friends:

Blimey, look at that near the bottom right.  Wind speed and green speed.

I get what the OP was asking for.Heh, can't tell you how many times I didn't pay attention and wondered what the green number was on the first approach.

Plus, a better example is the 14.5 green tournament WGT has every week-it's listed as C greens and if I don't pay attention again on the green I get one of those WTF moments. LOL   On me because I had C greens on my mind which are supposed to be 13 but can be anything above that.  :-)

Perhaps it might be an idea to do away with the titular notations and use Stimp speeds thoughout. It would help Jim if no one else, probably me too when I get there.

malnzman what you say might be correct as per screen dump but that is not the screen an iPad displays and I was not referring to tour menus although I do not think the green speed is displayed after the start screen then either.

Differences not particularly huge though between both Champ ones in approach shots.. The other scenario where this pops up is in brackets where the range is 7.4 to 12.9

Ah! the art of 'Fine Tuning', WGT only allows you to practice in Whole numbers like 7 for Slow, 8 for Standard, 9 for Fast, and so on. But when you are in RR, that's when you get the 10.4s and the 14.3s. Do your Homework, (+/-) that extra %. I'm till working it out because I'm a slow learner, but as sharp as you are, you'll have that formula soon and will share it with us. Thank you in advance:)
