I would like to set up a CC tournament about once a month. Add a purse and invite the more active members to play. Is there a way to do that? Thanks

Inside your club, discuss with your owner.  The owner determines by membership status (director, veteran, member, recruit) who can set up tournaments.

In my club, for example, all directors can create tournaments.

By WGT standard settings, only Recruits may not create tournaments. The OP is a Veteran and has created a tourney today ;)

I have that part figured out. I've created a few tournaments since being a member. I would like to restrict who can play in some tournaments.

You can only restrict by tier (TM/M/TP etc)

You can run an open tournament and only use the scores of the members you wish.

Example we run a pairs comp, not everyone has signed up for it but we have 21 pairs in the league......only these 42 players scores count when we do tables, but others can still enter and play in it, and they do.
