I have been playing regularly since last July.  Ranked rounds, single player, in Firefox, always on the same PC.  Very rarely had any meter issues, but it is chronic this week, making WGT unplayable on any course.  Tried clearing caches, no change.  Running FF4 and Flash 10.2 on my system, which is a Core2Duo, 4gb ram, giant disk, 5mb DSL.  I play late (MtnTime) with NO other network load.

What is going on?  Could it be the Flash version (10.2), or possibly Flash w/ FF4?  I want to play a ton to uplevel and BUY NEW CLUBS, but as of right now, I may take a break until there is a fix to make the meter predicable & reliable.

Searching forums I see many mentions of meter jerkiness, hesitation, skipping, etc, which is what I am experiencing, but no real root cause of the problem or how to resolve it.

    WTF WGT?

WGT, you are a guilty pleasure that I very much want to continue.  Please tell me how I can enjoy your game again with a consistent meter...  I'll make changes on my end if it makes the meter work, just tell me what to do.

    okay ... deep breath...

Downgrading Flash player to 10.1.102.64 seems to have resolved my case of the jitters.

    1. uninstall your Flash player (current version 10.2)

    2. download previous versions here:

    http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_10.1.102.64_and_9.0.289.0_archive.zip

    3. install 10.1.102.64 for whatever platform/os you're on
