How about they just let us know when, Jebus do they have special privileges. How long can you sell a product that no longer exist. There has to be  some law about using their logo. I understand about real life, but this is virtual they can produce this ball forever. Why is Nike allowing this.

I guess one Thursday or Friday Icon will say  "just a heads up but early next week Nike balls are gone"

Wood.....   my guess is that Nike is still carving a fee off the top with each purchase.  Sorta strange that Nike would even have an interest considering their cut is more than likely minuscule............

I would guess Callaway's substantial financial interest with TOP Golf  would push them to the top spot followed by Taylor Made with their new TP5 balls.......

I understand about Callaway, but I dont think they can compete with the Nike ball. If they could it would have already been in the pro shop.

As far as Titlist they dont want anything to do with WGT is they way I understand it.

If they can get away with keeping the NIke balls thats great. I think we just deserve an answer on whats going on. I have wrote CS and asked if they would be gone by the start of the US Open. The reply I got was the NIke balls will be going but they have no idea when....BS they know exactly how long they have to pull the balls.

No you said Taylor made, I was just saying Titlist because its a damn good ball, and in the early years everyone was wondering why Titlist did not get on the boat of the worlds best golf game.

There are still 1000's of new Nike balls on the market and I assume as long as there are Nike balls in real stores there will be Nike balls here. There are many store chains that sell Nike balls that have never sold  Nike clubs. The Walmart I work at has several dozen Nike 20X-IX and a few dozen of the less expensive Nike balls in stock . The other Walmart across town has about the same inventory of Nike balls in stock. We got in some Crush extremes just last night.

Most likely Nike had to pay a fee to WGT to promote their balls in the game. WGT is probaly still looking for the best deal they can get to replace this relationship. How long WGT can still sell Nike balls and under what conditions depends on the terms of their contract with Nike.
