I come from a strong Tiger Woods background and I've never seen Titleist. I think they might have had Titleist balls or hats in 04' can't remember. Is there any particular reason for this. I have mostly all Titleist clubs in real life except for the Nike forged irons, i'd love to have Titleist clubs in this game, what about you?

Titleist doesnt want to be represented in the game . Before WGT can use the Titleist name brand or logo in any way shape or form they must first have permission from Titleist . Its all about permission and contracts and WGT has neither .

Everything in the game is make believe . The name means nothing its all about the specs and the performance of the clubs and balls . They could be called Hoonannys for all I care as long as I can play and have fun thats all that matters .

    +1!

The most you'd get from Titleist is their logo, in pixels.

+2 guys.  Sadly, too many forget that point alosso.  If / when Nike balls actually leave, they could be replaced with same spec WGT balls.  However, I wonder what that would do to the sales volume once they aren't name brand balls?  Me personally I could care less about the name on the ball.

I am guessing Nike ball replacement will be Callaway- that has been the case with irons and woods so far. WGT just changes the specs very slightly.

Would still like to see more choices in golf balls ie... Top Flite, ProStaff, Bridgestone, Maxfli, Ultra's, Slazenger. All with different spec's and prices that are reasonable & affordable.

I know its just adding a name an logo but I would buy say decent Maxfli's over a stupid cat ball and it just gives the gave more as everyone isnt hitting the same type ball either.

Well that's just silly talk that is... None of those words belong in the same sentence when mentioning WGT and marketing... lmao! Afforda-wut?

Man! Just like slam the kitty kat ball... Have you ever triiied it? I found the mighty roar to be quite intimidating for others when used it AS rounds... quite effective.

The game needs much less in the way or ball choices not more.

Not quite - it is also months on contractual and financial negotiations. The adding the logo is the easy part.

To me they are just names and have no bearing on the real thing - here they are simply assigned attributes depending on the contractual agreements and price we are charged.
