  What a great online game! I'm hooked, especially as I get more familiar with the courses. My only problems are the chip shots. What am I missing here?

  My only problems are the chip shots. What am I missing here? 

  1) Don't you ever trust the caddie!

  2) Make sure that chips land on fringe or green (pitches on FW, fringe or green)!

  3) Use different shot in case of doubt.

  4) Disregard caddie's advice!

  never chip  or  pitch --  use flop with 100% b/s

  Chips are ok from 8 yrds in, but only from light rough,  fringe or f/way, not from 30/40% + rough. The flop is your shot saver.

  Play one course at a time until you par or beat it, then move on to another...you'll learn the courses quicker that way too.

  And don't go crazy spending your hard earned cash, ie: control the equipment, don't let the equipment control you.
