    I've played two people who use them and they say they're gr8. The specs are impressive as well...as they should be given the price.

    We just had a free rental weekend...I'm a bit surprised you didnt give them a test run.

    Very good irons. Long irons not quite as good as the higher level ones, but very good equipment.

    I base this on the two Nike iron sets those two sets replaced, both of which I have and have used.

    I recently switched from the L100 Nikes to the L97 Callaways. I always struggle with hitting the ding, so the much slower meter helps a lot in that regard. I feel way more comfortable playing the callaways altough there's no question that the higher level irons are more precise and have a better ball flight in the are of 3i to 5i. still, personally i prefer the slower meter and the comfort I gain from that during a round, my scores have improved since the 'downgrade'

    Thank you all for the replies. ct, I did "free rent" and then buy. I like them a lot, and wanted to know if others felt the same. Thank y'all again
