It should be almost the same considering all other factors are the same.

depends if it's a normal game or a ready go comp.

my 85 yrd wedge in a normal game will go no further than 80yrds into a headwind of 18-20 mph facing 6pm.....

however the identical shot  in identical conditions on the same course in a ready go comp and it's not uncommon to see the same ball miraculously fly the 85 yds and roll on as if there is no wind resistance whatsoever.

getting the correct wind is more luck than reliability.

Agreed  , and its the same on the greens  putts can gain express speed in rtg torneys  and yet sometimes  come off the club head like  lead balloon regardless of being up hill or down .

none of the clubs have 100% precision.

Before I discovered wgt http://www.nabiscoworld.com/Games/game_large.aspx?gameid=10028 I played this cartoon - eaqle, doubleeagle, eagle, hole in one, eagle, hole in one - I did 46 there with no big effort - boooooooring. Thats why is I still play WGT - pursuit of perfection. Means if U hit 2 shots with same wind both excelent with my driver - the diference is less than 1 yard, but this 1 yard makes me play this game......hope it makes sence

Something i think people need to remember is that in real life, when there is a '15 mph wind' in your face on the tee,  it could be totally different 100ft in the air.  Wind is not some magical formula that is consistent and predictable.  It swirls, it fluctuates and it even reverses.

It happens frequently in golf that a shot does not do what i thought it would do on the the actual course and the same is true in this game.  If it was 100% predictable the game would be too easy and becoming boring very quickly.  I don't know if the variances are intentional, but i would venture to say that they are and if they are, I am all for it!
