Last weekend my club competed in the CC clashes and I have to question the results of two of those clashes as the totals indicate that we won but our opponents were awarded the win - as follows.

Glen Abbey GC Ontario 303 pts.

    German Club                  263 pts.

    And second clash

    Glen Abbey                    426 pts.

    Hurricane Isles               350 pts.

In both instances our opponents were awarded 600 points for the win.  How does this happen?  Am I missing something or are we somehow getting the short end of the stick?

    Hey doctorstrike,

In clashes, the team whose player scores the lowest gets an added 100 points. which is not shown as clearly as it should be in the ending scorecard. This usually accounts for any instances where it appears with the final scorecard that your team "should" have won. We apologize for the confusion and are working on making this bonus more clear.

    Cheers,

Think it's the player that has the "Highest" number of points in the individual clash that gets the 100 points and blue trophy, not the lowest score. It doesn't really matter as overall prizes don't change. Maybe consider giving the blue trophy winner a sleeve of balls might entice better participation. For those that don't know, coming in second gets 4 sleeves of balls total, not each to be distributed by club owner. Third place gets 1 sleeve of balls total....not for each participant, so what you are really playing for is a few cc passes and a couple course builders for your club. For most all members, coming in 50th place is no different than coming in first as far as the virtual prize you get.

Frequent question but unfortunately not quite the correct answer I'm afraid - scores and points are like apples and peaches. Alas, it's in the Event rules, plain to see for ev1. Pay attention to the sequence of awarding bonuses.
