I recently accidentally, played the US Open 2017.  What a wake up call!  So under equipted, my starter driver barely made the fairways.  Greens played like ice.   Hope to getr good enough to play again in the future.

It takes a lot of rounds and lots of practice to get good enough to make the cut.  Meanwhile, enjoy the game.  Learn how to play all the shots, and be sure to ask for help when you think about what clubs to get when you decide to upgrade.  There are lots of us who will provide help when you are ready.

It's unlimited play for another month, play it again. You can restart any time you want and play as many times as you want.  :-)

Ataylor, you just jumped in a little too early for your WGT career progression.

91 ranked rounds and at Pro tier is just not enough to compete at the pinnacle - the most prestigious tournament on WGT.  By all means give it a go for the experience, but do not have high expectations.

I was lucky in that I started on WGT in December, by the time the Virtual US Open came around (Congressional) I had just hit Tour Master - I tried to qualify but my skill and equipment was not enough to get there.

2 months later we had the Virtual Open at St Georges, and I really grinded that one out.  Squeaked into the cut and played my first Open as a Tour Master.  St Georges was okay in that only the 15th was too long to reach the green in regulation consistently.

Give it a few go's this year, but make next year's VUSO your goal to qualify in.....
