  I've looked through the FAQ but haven't been able to find anything that explains the duration of the probation period during which the posts of new users are moderated.  Can anyone advise?

  I've been around for a couple of months and have made a couple dozen posts and still seem to be moderated; just curious for how much longer this should be expected.  I don't mind the initial moderation, as I understand it's purpose - but after a while it becomes a bit of an inconvenience.

  If you ask one of the Mods, they will normally remove you from the list, providing you haven't been too much of a pain.

  Don't feel so bad, been playing for 3 months and still moderated. Please take me off the list too. thanks

  Thanks guys.  I would have thought that maybe whichever mod moderated the initial post in this thread would have done it, but maybe it's not that simple.  :-)

  Posting a note here won't get you off moderation. You have to post the request to one of the moderator's walls.
  
  As noted above, that typically takes care of it.

  Well, it is as simple as posting to the person's wall. By the way, typically, they haven't taken someone off moderation until the person has 30 to 40 posts.
