  When I do CTTH rounds, I swap out my driver for the 205 yd EZ Swing Starters 3 wood, since I never use the driver and it gives me a little more range than my 195 3 iron.  So when I used it for the first time today, I was surprised to find its now a one-click system.  It seems like the circle of probability has grown simply enormous, and you have very little control over where it goes.  Out of 4 shots so far, I've seen it go as much as 5-10 degrees off line both left and right, and only close to where I aimed once.

  What's the rationale behind this?  These clubs are now much less useful to me.

  The "EZ Swing" is meant for folk just starting out that cannot hit, or get close to the dinger...as with any "EZ" thing, the precision is not real good.

  It designed to make you pull back, see the ding and go...so when you play with a real (non -EZ) club, you have a feel for things.

  I guess my question is when did this start?  I hadn't bought any clubs for a couple weeks before this, and I had never seen that style of swing meter before, even when I played for the first time back in February.
