OK, that was just strange.  Looking at a 28 foot putt, 12 inches above the cup.  So I hit it 15' on a 30' meter.  The ball started out normal speed, then approximately 2/3 of the way to the cup it sped up like it was struck on 60' on a 90' meter.  Is it possible to change meter lengths after the ball has been struck?  Dunno what happened.  I saved the replay on my profile.

what was the green speed m8 ?

why 15 ? goes 17ft on very fast greens f.e. +12 equals 25, plus the elevation does change after 15ft, maaan - callaways z balls - giv it 8 9 by that side wind and u score

or its realy a ugly glitch

It looks like you just hit it too hard and the downhill roll took over.

The putt was hit to hard imo ,Check my replay of how slow a ball can roll down that hill lol

That putt is quite challenging. The drop occurs right at the flag, last 10ft, so it may start ok but then drop sharply.

I wouldn't hit that with move than 10 speed, just as soon it at reaches down slope, it'll go on it.s own.

your aim also wasn't good. because you hit it so far, it didnt break but ran through break, if you had hit it proper speed, it would have been 1-2 boxes left of the flag

    hope this helps

I hit 15', the ball went 60.  I didn't 'hit it so far'.  15' on fast greens =17' +12 = 29' or 1' past the hole.  My putt ran 32' past the hole.  So, I didn't 'hit it so far'.  The game 'ran it that far'.  In the real world, the only away a putt hit like that goes 60' is if it is hit over a cliff.

Or, on this hole, and this hole alone 15' on fast greens = 48'.  Or 12" of elevation = 43'.  So, I should have hit -10' to get it to the hole.

Also, for the record.  I just shot a 9 at BPB for the multi-round weekly.  Almost the same lie... 26' at 11" downhill.  Hit it 13 and birdied it.  Nearly identical line.

The formula I used has worked everywhere else but on that green on that shot.  So... tell me whatever reasons you want to for that putt, and I will continue to tell you that green has a glitch.  I don't misjudge distance by 30'.

    *grins sheepishly*

So, I just found out the last round I played that my wheel on my wheel mouse can be used to change clubs, or club lengths (wished the right button could be used to toggle between shot types too).

I think that those of you who said IU hot it too hard were right, but not for the reasons you thought.  I still maintain that on a 30' bar, the shot I hit would have been very close, maybe just left of the hole.  BUT... I am reasonably sure I accidentally scrolled up to a 60' bar.  I heard a beep before my shot, I remember, because right after the shot I minimized the window to see what had beeped, and I', pretty sure it was the sound my mousewheel made when I did it this last round.  That would mean a 60' meter, rather than 30', and a shot hit 30', not 15'... which would have given pretty much exactly the result that happened.

Seriously never knew about the wheel.  Quite helpful, actually, now that I know about it.  Also explains some other previously unexplained club selections.
