  Hi.  First of all I'm new here, so I might be missing something in my observations.

  I've just finished a 9 hole tournament (monthly play 9 hole at Kiawah)  I Finished on Par, 36. Was quite pleased with that after the short time I've being here. (2 days, I'm Level 16). But, when I looked at the leader board for Hack I was quite surprised to see that the top scores were 28 - 29. The pro section shot a 29 also.

  This is were I am a bit confused.  I Know Hack level is easier (I Think), but are people under the Hack category beginners ? I assumed the scores would be more realistic I guess.

  Now, I'm not a sore loser or moaning or anything like that, all I'm trying to understand is how a Hack player (a beginner???) shoot a 28 ? How are people who have just started here get anywhere in achieving anything here, without delving into our own pockets for upgraded equipment, when these scores are being shot.

  Sorry if this sounds like I'm moaning, (I'm not) I just want to understand this before I spend money on this game.

  Please no sarcastic / nasty replies guys.  I can't handle them.

  What you are most likely seeing is what are called re-starters, or multi-accounts.

  They have already played the game, have obtained a higher tier, and then have created a new account.

  They are already familiar with the courses.  Also take a look at their profile and see what equipment they have and what level they are.  You will probably find they have much better equipment then you.

  A word to the wise, DON'T play these people in any kind of credit game.  They are doing this to fleece credits from newer, unknowing players.

   

  But otherwise, enjoy the game and become addicted to it like the rest of us.

  This guy (he admitted as much in another post) is just as guilty as the other restarts.

  He's just not as good as they are.

  Oh man, I didn't do any checking into this, just answered.  Thinking might be doing some good.

  You mean to tell me, I just told him everything he already KNEW?

  And it wasn't the driving stat that got me, after looking.

  I don't believe this place, I really don't. 

  I've been here 2 days and it's unbelievable how rude everyone is.

  I am not a re-starter. You think my score would be 77 if I was one ?  I've played golf games for long time. What else can I say?

  I'm very disappointed in how people are responding.  Is it because I've done better than you when you started or is it something else ?  Does everyone just gang up on new people ?  Feels like it.

  I don't understand why you think I'm being a smart ass.  This isn't my first go on a forum.  (This is the worst one, however). I know about the nastiness that can be written and I didn't want to see it.

  So thanks for your pointless replies. I'm out of here.
