  I know they say that the sticky crappy meter has nothing to do with them, but it ruins the game totally.

  Just build your own meter WGT! because i'm sick of the damn thing already.

  I heartily echo magicnz's statement.

  Much as I appreciate the game  I'm close to quitting because of the extreme inconsistency of the meter, particularly during those hours the site is well populated.

  Notwithstanding the amount of Calloways (ergo money)  that I've lost as a result of meter-stuttering,  meter-rocketing or meter-halting, it's frustrating to the extreme when one has invested so much time in achieving a great score to have it all suddenly blown away by  a factor over which one has absolutely no control. The erratic meter-behaviour condemns this game to be one of chance  rather than one of skill. 

  I'm not a computer or cyber techie, and maybe there's no quick fix for this glaring handicap, but I suspect that it may be that your server power has fallen behind your rapid growth.  

  I play every day and chat with other players. Just be aware that there are many, many other paying customers who, like myself, are on the brink of waving goodbye. Please, please, don't spoil the ship for a ha'pworth of tar..and get this issue fixed.

  All I had to do was get rid of 180 or so friends a couple of weeks ago and I have't had 1 swing issue since. The meter has been perfect.

  Well, that's certainly one way to band-aid the symptom instead of addressing the cause, but it's certainly not a long-term solution for maintaining customer goodwill.  

  I believe WGT's strategy of implementing group play and country clubs has spawned excellent camaraderie, and the resulting esprit de corps has played a significant part in WGT's popularity, so I'm not entirely certain they would want too many players to adopt your solution.

  As for me, I place too much value on the relationships I've established with some really fine people  to simply wipe them out in order to achieve better performance.

  i  have  had  the  same issues with  the  meter what  i  don,t  understand  is how do  these legends  that  shoot 55s in  tournaments never  have  meter issues i  tried  the  quaulifying  round and  had  several strokes due  to  meter issues there  is  something  wrong here

  I've put in $1000 to this game in under a year.....is it too much to ask for a decent meter? Can't WGT just have a meter amnesty....cause I sure as hell am having trouble believing that it's not programmed into the game to screw extra $$$$ out of us.

  Virtual Callaways that cost more than the real life balls.....WGT needs to get a grip and sort this money grabbing sh*t out else folks are gonna get so pi$$ed off they will start to leave the game.

  Hi, Have you tried this :  

   there is somethin you can do. This is a loading issue with your computer; found this out myself. RIght click anywhere on your screen when playing. Go to QUALITY; change setting to medium. When yu are playing a match;go to menu which is in upper left hand box where chat and friends is. CLICK menu;CLICK game settings, change flash quality to medium, turn off reflections. CLICK save.   This will help loading issues as well as your meter. Good luck

  This was from a thread called jumpy meter ,  I tried it and it helps out alot, more so when playing multi-player games.
