After getting a meter pause, and making my shot go off course,on St Andy's #1, when i landed i was 6 yards left of hole, my ball spun back(even without spin) with cleveland wedges, and slowely comes to a halt clearly on fringe.  I then get a message saying "Imovable object", then get put back the other side of the burn.

Why has this happened when i was clearly on the fringe? And if it was a free drop, why put me back the other side, when my ball clearly stops on fringe.

    Here's replay

But on the replay above its not as clear, but when i watched replay while playing the game, it was clear where ball stops, it was right at start of fringe, but when  watched after the round on the above replay, the camera angle doesn't show ball stopping.

There's a retaining wall on both sides of the stream. Your ball ended up on top of it and i guess you can't play off of it so it gave u a drop.

    My best guess!

There's no clear replay when we view it. One angle has the ball stopping a couple of inches inside the grass surface, but another angle shows the ball actually suspended over the burn when it stops moving.

But on the original camera view, it was just on edge of fringe with green, then when i went to the option to watch replay, it showed on 2 different camera angle's that ball stopped on fringe. But when i watched the saved replay later, it cuts out the bit where the ball stops, and itself is v.strange as i could see it before i saved it.

Any way, its not drastic, didn't loose a ball, only positioning, but i just saw it as strange going's on when i clearly saw ball stop on fringe twice.  When something similar happened before when i've spun back 10 yards with clevelands but landed in burn on that occasion and lost a ball, so i deffo dodn't land IN the burn.

I don't know if i'd call this a bug but mostly course feature? Some places have immovable artificial objects, so I assume that's where the drop comes from?
