I am at Tour Pro Lvl 74 and am equipped with:

    WGT Tour Plus 10.5 Driver(L6)

WGT Tour Plus 3 Wood (L6)

    WGT Tour Plus Irons (L6)

TM ATV 60W and 54W (L14) with standard LW

    Max Control Putter (Hack)

My reflexes are not 20 year old quick any longer :)

Should I get new clubs now or wait some more?

No you should go back and use your other account . This account says that you are  L 38 Tour Pro so its evident you are on the wrong track .

His average score is 74 - I think he might have mixed that up with his level.

To the OP, here are my thoughts:

Your 3W is excellent - you should be set here for a while.

The next upgrade I'd make, if I were you, is to upgrade your three wedges to some combination of the ATV/Gorge wedges that unlock in the L39-42 range.  Exactly which 3 you select will depend on the yardages you desire.  These are excellent wedges for the money.

Your driver should suffice until you unlock the TM driver at L48.  When you get there, buy that.

Putter is subjective; I think the Daytona that unlocks at L55 is the best putter value out there, but if you like the one you have, I don't see the point in switching.

Your irons are OK. I would have continued using the starter irons until the Ping G25 set becomes available at L59, but for you that ship has sailed.  The ones you have are fine - you can shoot good scores with them at your level - but I'd still consider upgrading to the L59 Pings when you unlock them.

You already play much better balls than I do (I'm cheap!) so I can't help you there.  :-)

You all are right...I realized after posting that I said L74 instead of L38, but I was awaiting moderation as this was was my first post and could not make a change until it went live.

I got the upgrade bug as I was waiting and i had lots of points saved up from surveys and videos, so I just jumped in to upgrades. This was probably unwise, but it is free money :). Work has been slow so I have had time :)

This is what I have done because I hated my irons because there was very little ability to spin (the reason for more expensive balls)

Same Driver. I like this and will upgrade to something better later. I am thinking of waiting until the TM R1 at L48 or hanging in there until I can get the TM SLDR 9.0 at LVL 79. Better options?

Upgraded to TM R11 3W since it was relatively inexpensive. I didn't dislike the 3W I had, but I thought I had enough credits for my full 3 set wedges, but I was wrong. Will I ever need to upgrade this? If so, what about the Steelhead XR(85) or Calloway Fusion (51)

Upgraded to TM R11(32) Irons  since they have better spin. I should have waited on the initial upgrade, but I was enticed by a special early on and ended up wasting these credits...these turned out to be only slightly better than the starters. I will get the Ping G25(59) when I get there if I feel I am lacking with the TM. I guess irons are the most important upgrade since they are used more extensively. (I know putting is were you can lower your scores, but it appears you can get a good putter at low levels (Like mine)

Upgraded to Cleveland 588 56(27) and 60(29) since I had the credits...waiting a few days to build credits up for the 64. The TM were fine, but needed better balls to stop  much better  than the starters. I am hoping to buy cheaper balls in the future so I can stop doing all the surveys and videos.

No change in putter. I don't see a need to upgrade here until maybe the Dayton(55) or waiting for the Saber tooth all the way up at L98.

I don't know why I ended up mostly Taylor Made, but they seemed to hit the sweet spot I was looking for. I do own real TM clubs which I do love, but that really did not have any impact on these "virtual" clubs.

Thanks for those willing to help. Please give more opinions here to help newbies like me and anyone else that reads in the future. I do have a few more questions not related to this, so I will post these elsewhere. How to learn to putt (my biggest problems and what is the deal with coins? i.e. are these useless?)

It is important to keep in mind that, as you progress, it gets exponentially harder to level up.  You will play many, MANY rounds between L48 and L79.  You can get to L48 easily with the driver you have, but I doubt you'll want to use what you have all the way to L79.

Your 3W is very good and you can use if for a long time.  When you're ready for something a little longer, the Ping 3W at L81 is similar in "playability" and quite inexpensive.  You can easily use the 3W you have until L81.

When you get to L59, you'll probably be able to rent the Ping irons for free.  If so, do that and see how you like them.  I bet you'll buy them.

I can't comment on your wedges since I've never played them.  I still play the cheapos I recommended earlier, and they serve me just fine.
