I've looked all over the main page - is there an Exit or Close button to get out of the app?
Probably different depending on system/device used, but the back button works for me.
In the app, go to your account page and you will see a LOG OUT button.
That doesn't close the app, it just goes to a screen that let's me change languages and sign back in. Currently, I have to turn the screen off and back on, hit the square button that windows all your open apps and click the X. Surely there's a way to close the app through the interface.
When I'm at the 'home' screen, or the common screen I hit the back out arrow on my android and then a pop up comes up and ask 'exit ?', then I hit YES to exit.
edit:
I said 'android' but I actually have a Samsung galaxy, FWIW

If Android touch very bottom of screen and swipe up slightly. That brings up the navagation buttons and you can close it the way you do or the way JF does.
If Apple IOS double tap home button and swipe the thumb nail
up,.
Tap the course logo at top left of screen to give you the "end round", "restart round", "exit" etcetera menu
