So we are to justify buying a ball which has same specs aside from slower meter of a level 81 Nike ball with less durability rating for $3 more a sleeve???? WOW..Sorry just cant justify buying them....

I think they're most likely targeting players who can't purchase the Level 81 balls. That is to say, they're targeting lower-level players. I believe they set the Level to 0 for the Max Platinums.

Now, should those players be purchasing such an expensive ball when they're probably not going to really be able to take advantage of its capabilities? Probably not. Still, I think that's WGT's target: players who think they just need a better quality ball to shoot lower scores.

They are testing the water so to speak when they finally pull all the Nike balls out of the pro shop. They won't be here forever.

While I hope you're wrong. it's most likely the case that you're correct. But I would purchase the Callaway Truvis balls before those Max Platinum ones.

A while back, I tried them and loved them. But I don't like their price vs. durability. So that's why I stick with Nike Level 81 balls.
