Please, please, when our golf ball expires please give us 1 of these two suggestions:

    1) allow the round (game) in progress to be complete before ball is taken out of play

    2) give us the option to carry a couple of spare balls in our golf bag

Such a pain when you start a long game and on hole #2 your ball expires and you have no choice but to finish the round with the default ball...

Or you could check your bag before you start a long game so that you can avoid things like this.

OK, didn't make myself real clear on option #2. If you start with 1 particular brand and make of golf ball, even if you have a different ball that you have already purchased, for some reason, if you only have 1 of the type you started with, wgt program loads the default ball for the remainder of the game instead of giving you the option of replacing that ball with a different type ball you have already purchased beforehand.

    That should make more sense.

In real golf you are required to check your bag to make sure you have enough balls to finish your round.  However except in tournaments where the one ball rule is in effect, you can use any ball that you have or one that you find or borrow from your playing partners.

In WGT it is similar, you are playing under the one ball rule but allowed to finish a round using the 'range balls' that happen to exist in your bag.  You are always prompted by WGT before you start to check your equipment and if you don't then you should finish with the worse ball available or be disqualified from any tournament that you are playing in.  I guess what I am saying is that I would rather WGT work on important things instead of thinking for us.

I agree with Tarheels comment >>>>  Be prepared or suffer the consequences

There is an indicator that turns red warning you that your ball is about to "expire" You can purchase balls during a round but not if you wait until the ball of choice runs out. Uh Huh

I tried to close the final ball warning but missed the X by a hair and instantly bought 3 Calloway vapor balls. Don't make the same mistake I did.
