  I was playing against a guy that was level 51 and I noticed he was using an R9 tour master 8.5 driver. Was this club available at a lower level before and now it's not? I looked at all the clubs available because I'm at 50 and there isn't any 8.5's at all. Just curious..

  Hi,

  It was available without level until last August when we implemented new tiers and levels. It's grandfathered in, so to say.

  Icon is right of course.

  When the changes happened last fall all of us who had equipment beyond the level 30 that the Legends (former master level) was set at were allowed to keep our equipment. There are still a few people you see who don't play as much and still don't have the level for the equipment that they bought but can use it under the terms that were described above.

  Thanks for the information, I figured it was something like that.
