    JaLaBar:

But for irons?  G10 FTW.  I chose them over the TP and R9s,and I couldn't be happier.  If I could only find a putter that would improve my green game as much as a new driver and irons improved my tee to green game.

I loved my G10 irons but am playing much better since getting a set of i15. I have the same putter as you and will never change it, it's perfect for my game. Just goes to show what works for someone may not for someone else.

I had the Rapture and now have both the R9 & G10. Simply stated, I find the R9 to be very sloppy and unpredictable. The G10 is extremely accurate and reliable, with plenty of distance. However, when I hit L88 (at L87 now) I intend to give the R11 a shot to be in my bag.

R11 is hands down the better driver on the site.  You can put backspin on it and carry it 290, even into the wind it isn't bad, close to the R9 in distance.  Simply said it goes where you hit it and is very predictable.

    Hi all,

I've got a question to more experienced people in here than I am :-)

I'm currently using 2010 Rapture V2 10.5° Driver (L32+) but I'm pretty dissapointed with the distance so I decided to shop for a new driver.
I would really appreciate if you can help me to chose a better one out from the ones listed below or any different ones you can recommend:

     - G10 8.0° Driver (L58+)

    -  R9 TP 8.5° Driver (L62+)

    -  i15 8.0° Driver (L68+)

    Thank you for your help

I'm in the exact same situation as you are, except that I'm upgrading from the lower level r11, which is by far the oldest club in my bag. I love it to death, but just can't get enough distance out of it on some of the longer holes with elevated greens.

I'm very fond of my g10 irons, so the meter speed isn't a big issue. It's just a matter of trying to decide on the sometimes seemingly odd applications of precision and forgiveness. I haven't actually kept track of it, but I think that I would fall more towards the "just miss the ding more often than ding" side of things, so could anyone verify JaLa's assessment?

I've been playing MP over the past few days against other Legends who still have the R9, I use the G10.

The R9 out drives me constantly.

When I was using the Tour iz (non legend) balls I was being out driven 5-6 yards, now using Srixons I'm out driven 12-15 yards on continual basis.

Thank you all for all information.

I've got a little mess in my head but it'll be much better for me to make a right decision - purchasing right driver.

My R9 driver took a while to get used to the meter speed.  I have found that a golf ball with 2 1/2 FEEL dots will slow the meter just enough to hit it.  Wish WGT made a 3 dot FEEL ball.

I too will be getting the R11 once I get to level 88.. I'm at 87 now.  It has the same meter speed as my R9 has now, so the change should not be dramatic.
