  As far as I understood, most of the players play this game via PC. I play with Ipad, therefore there is no such an option for me. On Ipad screen that blinks bother so much. But as I said before, this is a game and no need to be an ........ Respect is important.

  True golfers are most certainly gentlemen, and ladies, most importantly true sportsmen. In this formated game, you have lots that fit this profile, but we also have gamers here, and alot of them don't understand our forms of etiquette, they will do whatever it takes to win! Not all gamers are that way, but lots of them are! Unfortunately

  If you close the chat box, the light flashes which probably is more distracting than having the window open.
  
  I try to wait until the shot is hit before typing but depends on how many drinks I've had. LOL
  
  Personally, I've gotten used to it and don't get bothered by it after playing for so long.
  
  The op hasn't played much with only 15 ranked rounds, 1 match play and 0 alt/shots so it will probably take some time to block it out.
