    WGT,

Please see this clip from my Twitch stream.

I was in 30/40 rough and played a 3W Punch shot that should have gone well ... and then this happened ... ???

My guess is you were in a place where the 3W didn't clear the edge of that rough. A 3W is not a good digging-out club.  :-)

I agree with Jim. To me, it appeared to catch a lip or slight mound of some kind. It happens.

Still, I have to admit that, in that situation, I probably would have tried the same shot. I've had pretty good success with the 3-wood punch shot from the 30-40% rough. I can't recall when it's ever failed to produce decent results.

Thank you guys.  I do understand what "probably" happened.  However, there was no slope seen, no ridge seen ... therefore I should not EXPECT a shot I have made in other situations to fail so miserably.

IMHO this is a "bug" that the developers should fix.  either there is an obstical (and we should be able to see an obstical) ... or there is not & the shot should work.

But please be at ease everyone ... I have zero expectations that WGT will spent the time to even look at this problem ... let alone fix ANYTHING in the code.  After all, there is no monetary value in fixing this type of bug.  if anything, it wastes balls and that is a gain for WGT.

    Cheers,

    Ezzy
