Just a general question, dont really know what category this falls under.  Kinda wondering when the new driver comes out, to purchase it, will the experience points remain at 89?  I fear by the time I finally get my Cleveland wedges and R11 3w and driver, other players will already have access to better equipment.  Just wondering........

If there are plans to improve upon the R11 woods, Burner irons and Cleveland wedges, I really fear for the game. Extra distance is not needed, nor is greater precision from where we currently are. The game is definitely an easier one now than it was prior to the new clubs and balls. If it gets too easy it will become boring, something I really wouldn't want to happen.

I'm with Tiffer on this. How much more does one need? The  precision of some of the equipment is almost already maxed out. I suppose they could fill up the dots and max the meter speed dots too but I don't see that as a best seller, if it were to sell at all.

Same performance clubs, different speed meter mabye?, or better performing clubs with super fast meter mabye??  WGT fixed the "easy" problem in September moving our tees back to the country club entrance.  Im sure they will think of something, like green speed to even it out...................

Guess my point is, Im trying to catch up still, dont want to be left behind when I finally cross the finish line.......

I think that the other guys have hit the nail on the head.  We don't need better clubs or balls than what we currently have.  I realize that WGT wants to continue to sell them but it will be at the expense of the game.  Offer other brands if you want but not longer, straighter, etc. than what is available today.  Offer the Titleist 910D2 if you want with the same precision, length, etc. as the R11, of course the issue then is who will dump the R11 and buy it.  I'm sure a lot of folks would like to equip there bag as their real golf bag is equipped but I do hope that the game improvement at the top end is pretty much over.

    Turk,

You are already very good. You will love the new irons and woods when you level up.

You will then be scary good,  my friend.
