  To their benefit, 100 strokes of effect are 250 cr, while a heart ball is about 90 cr for at least 100 strokes. And, you need a ball in addition to the effect, and the effect might use up on the green, too(?)

  Just confirmed it with the new gift of "country colours effect": These nice black-red-gold trails are counted on the green, too, while putts with much cheaper (vapour) balls aren't counted against their usability.

  Happy greed, despite the extra of sprinkling stars on the putts!

  What impresses me is the idea WGT has that there are so many players here who have more money or credits than sense. I know there will always be some who think shot effects are fun and would purchase balls just to have the effects. But to purchase the effects alone must show that WGT has a very low estimation of our overall sensibility to spending money foolishly.

  I put these free effects (hearts and flag trail) in the same trash bin where I put the Premier Membership that  WGT offered me.

  I'd support the idea to separate balls and effects. This way, you can have your favourite Nike with your favourite trail.

  But the price is really steep 250 cr for 100, including putts. Plus, the stars showing on the green at each shot make this gimmick even more gimmickish!
