XP points - "experience points"?
They come up after finishing a game, any game, and are counted in the "level" bar below your name (on PC, maybe elsewhere on mobile). They pile up to raise your "levels", making you eligible to buy stuff in the pro shop.
There's some explanation in the FAQs, otherwise come back with a more detailled description.
