I have posted a few items concerning my horrid issues with the swing meter, worse than imaginable.   After pissing around for a few days and scratching my head until I have a bald spot, I decided to check the performance settings on my laptop.  One might think I would look there first, but sometimes the brain gets a cramp. I had originally set it at ''power saver " because I used the laptop unplugged most of the time. Problem is, that only provides about 1/3 of the potential performance.    I reset it to high performance and...voila...massive improvement in the swing meter.  Hopefully it is a true situation and not just a random decent span of internet performance.  I stil have some issues with the swing meter, but not even close to the jerky and totally inconsistant situation I had.  So, anyone using a laptop for this game, and having swing meter issues, check your performance settings.

This is found wherever your power schemes are. If you have the icon of the battery in your toolbar you can right-click on it and see instantly.

What kind of curve have the developers set behind the flat swing bar? What formula is behind the swing area to control the speed and force to hit the ball?

I have a discussion with a friend where he says it's a Gauss curve, i say it's a Parabolic one...

    Anyone knows?

I get the infamous jerky swing meter, even when the PC is plugged in.  However, in case you didn't know...if you don't do the 2nd click, for direction, it's not counted as a shot, considered a mulligan.

This is exactly what controls the bad results of meters jumping around. Learning to react to a meter stumble and letting the swing go is big.
