After sinking a 35 ft birdie putt, I hit a perfect tee shot on the next hole...dead straight aided by a 20 mph wind at its back yet somehow ....the ball managed to take a sharp turn and land in the fescue....where of course...I went on to double bogey.

I'm not saying it happens all the time, but there can be no dispute that it does happen that the game will cause a shot that makes no sense in either the virtual or natural world!

I don't mind the game being hard....I do mind when it's overtly unfair.

Were you juiced after the birdie putt? The hand is quicker than the eye!

It always happens after a birdie.

You have been here since 2008.  Likely took a long break.   It takes time for your clubs to work again.   Just keeping playing with those top notch clubs, and all the kinks will work themselves out.

its your clubs.  Its your clubs, its your clubs!

    Cheers,

    b0gey

I get juiced about every single birdie putt, and when I make an Eagle I do The Dance.

You are using the beginner starter clubs my friend which have some seriously bad precision...I know, I have the same clubs and even when you hit these on the ding, they do veer off 10 yards left or right at times.  Get yourself better clubs and you'll banish that inaccuracy.
