  Just played 4 multi player games and in every single one the person who got the recovery bonus won the game.  Don't make this double the score or have an option to say how lopsided it can be.  It ruins the game.  Games were competitive and then the recovery bonus created a runaway winner.

  The recovery bonus is a feature that only exists in Blitz.  The design is so that a player who has a bad hole can come back and be competitive and hopefully not quit after a ball into the water or OB.  

  I can say that if you lost four games to the player who dumped it into the water or OB then the players aren't that good in the groups you are in.  If you get the recovery bonus you have lost your green and inside 10 feet bonus.  Not sure how this could possibly create a runaway winner unless the person happened to ace the next hole.

  your highest score in a blitz is 63389.

  you're going to lose most any  blitz game anyway.

  unless the competition happens to be quadraplegic with Tourette syndrome.

  Even though I'm a beginner...it was the same people who played each time and each time a different person won only because of the recovery bonus sorry that I don't commit my life to getting amazing scores on golf games
