Negative posts that are not constructive may be removed, but it's okay to post a legitimate critique of the product's performance/value.

Here's a good example....Sgt. Doodles suggests an alternative to the Tour Starter irons.

The Ghost is unfairly taking a beating, too.  Nothing constructive about "it sucks."

Sorry but you've completely lost me with your example. Where is the "legitimate critique" of tour starter irons there?

Are you saying that as paying customers we are no longer allowed to point out the negative side of the game?

We are now just limited to the positive side?

Well so much for freedom of speech.

I think this is what is being asked for.... a Was this review helpful? YES/NO button at the bottom of reviews. This would help sort the quality responses from the, err, not so good ones :-)

This doesn't necessarily mean its a review that praises the club, but I think the posters who take the time to post with more info than "it sucks" should be presented to those looking to buy something.

At one time Nivlac had spread sheet that displayed all the characteristics of each club thus it was easy to visualize the performance of each club, before we got into level specific clubs.

For example;   Pitch, punch and chip distances, and ball trajectory.  What makes it more difficult now is the impact of ball characteristics on each club. The impact of the ball has on trajectory, the impact spin has on the club, etc.

So, is it possible to include the impact of ball characteristics when examining iron-sets, wedges, drivers etc.
