unless my opponenent decided to give up after that time there's no telling how long it would have taken the server to kick in to continue the game. after more than a year i've never seen anything this bad. if it continues like this my addiction and monetary investment in the game won't be reason enough to play anymore. anyone else suffering these mind-numbing delays during gameplay?
The bi-weekly Clash Events cause this...and there is currently a Clash Event taking place until 3am PDT. All will be better after that.
The 'whenever they feel like setting one up' Clash Events cause this...and there is currently a Clash Event taking place until 3am EST, 3/24. All will be better after they get around to doing maintenance sometime next week.
Perhaps the clashes interfere in some loading issues, but a player wanting an opponent to abandon need only to not leave the scorecard page after finishing a hole.
