    ScottHope:
I think that fits nicely into the, 'How to turn something simple into mumbo jumbo', pigeonhole, lol. : )

Heh, it's a lot easier to just give them the link to your original fix when everybody had the issue.

    External editor.

Create the post, click HTML, copy the entire page and paste  it in the body of your post.  :-)

It all depends on how much formatting you want to do Jim. If you just want to start a new line or a new paragraph, then <br> or <br><br> is all you need.  But thank you for the link.  : )

It's not about the formatting for me, I just find it distracting to have to think about a programming move when trying to communicate a thought. I want to push "enter" and keep going without having to think about <>s and  whatever else fixes something.

You're good at it so it comes naturally and I'm sure most will appreciate the tidbit of HTML you provide them for their issue. Heh, you're the one I got that link from and it solves everything. ;-)

After I lost the link to that HTML editor a few months back I googled it found a similar one, except this one allows you to edit font and background colours:

    Online HTML Editor

I have the toolbar so I don't actually need it for regular posts, but sometimes I like to post something with some colour highlights and then it comes in handy.

Maybe it was just me.  I tried it on 2 different computers with 2 different browsers and got the same unreadable result before my post.  Customer service said they did not see a problem.  I looked up Scott's post from last September as a last resort, but fortunately, when I got home everything was back to normal and has been working ever since.

Thank you Scott, for all of your help.  Your really should be on the payroll.  I don't know what we would do without you.

My toolbar occasionally disappears too, though a quick refresh usually brings it back. But it's handy to know what to do if it disappears for more than a short while.

    Thank you Steve.  ; )

Heh, I don't think they could handle him. He'd be spending all his time teaching them.  :-D

I get the toolbar on Opera, Maxthon 4.4.8.1000 Not.

I just don't use Maxthon for anything but playing anyway, so its cool.
