Since about 2 updates ago you only get a vapor trail on your replay if you are using a ball with vapor trail.

    Hi

I hadn't realised they'd disappeared in an update. Just in case you're using balls with vapour, there is an option to turn it on or off in the game settings

    Cheers!

Don't get these things confused folks, what we used to have with our replays was a trace, which gave you a line from start to finish of the ball's path. A vapour trail fades out as the ball travels along, it doesn't trace the ball's path in it's entirety.

Here is an example of a replay trace, notice how the ball's path is visible in its entirety, as opposed to a vapour trail which is not.

    VIDEO.

If WillieG has any objection to his shot being used here, I will remove it. Thank you Willie.  ; )

EDIT : Looks like Joe is correct, just did a bit of testing and for me there is only a trace on a replay if you are using a ball that has a vapour. But what I saw in the replay was a trace and not a vapour trail.  : )

    Hi Scott

Without getting too involved in it, as I hadn't noticed any difference, I've had another look. Playing with a Vapour ball the vapour trail does it's usual thing, depending on the shot length, fading out slowly but tracing the length of the shot.

With the option turned off in the game settings, on the short shot I looked at, there is what looks like a comet's tail following the ball, a set length then fading away, not following the entire path/flight of ball but giving a rough indication.

Best of Infamous" the par3 water hole, Congressional.

Dry, and almost sunk! Not the best idea to pick black for the trail but it was the first I laid my hands on. Usually a *SPLOSH* gives me a better idea where my ball ditched. . er landed.

    Happy Easter, take care

    Cheers!

    Rich

Thanks Rich, that seems to confirm that we only have a trace in replays if we use a ball that has a vapour attribute.
