Alt-shot games recently have seemed to default to tourney greens. A couple days ago, it said tourney green but was in fact standard green. This is at St. Andrews. And tonight, it said tourney greens again, but was either fast/v.fast but def not tourney.

Not just ALT -SHOT games. There are at least 4 different speeds for tourney and very fast greens, maybe less for slower speeds.

I believe that there should be a stimp meter speed posted for all rounds to eliminate using 2 or 3 holes to acquire the proper green speeds. They post the speed for the OPEN rounds, why not all rounds?

AS game green speeds default to the highest tiered player in the group. If you're playing with a TM or a Legend you will see this with the Legend speeds being slightly faster even though they're both called Tournament.

I like your idea of posting the speed in AS matches. Even just a permanent statement on the start screen about the default speed would save some players a little aggravation.

I see. Thank you for your postings. I'm surprised how much a difference there was in speeds. It was equivalent to standard speed. Is this possible?

Also, I support you idea that they should accurately post the speed of the greens: 1) Alt-shot is for fun and not aggravation, LOL. 2) Real professional golfers (TM/Legend types) usually have an idea of green speeds before teeing off.
