So, the new Titleist balls have arrived and the Nikes are gone.
Upon reading the news on my FB feed I thought I'd log in and check them out.
To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. They're ridiculously over priced compared to the Nikes, which have far more choice regarding specs.
Lvl 61 Nike, I'll miss you. So much so that when my bag of 100 odd are used up I'm giving the game away.
Users were duped into thinking the game would see an improvement with the introduction of Titleist, only to be offered up balls at an average 30% markup on the Nikes. WGT must think we're all idiots, or addicts..
At the very least, WGT, you should have kept the same range of specs as the Nikes, and at the same price or perhaps a small markup of no more than 10%.
Previously said I wouldn't play in the ridiculous unlimited round Virtual Tour, and now I'm stating I won't play at all if something isn't done to replace the Nike balls with a brand of ball offering the same spec ranges at the same price, simple as that.
