The quitters that I have played with 95% had WGT standard sets and played from the pro tees, then quit on the 9th green.
Most were near par, better equipment is not the problem, it helps though.Many also just started during the last week.
and were already top Armatures and low Pro's. No Masters that I have played with have quit their games.
