  We typically don't get them,,new courses, until after the open if I memory is correct. Golf is a game of patience,some have it, some don't, just like some are born to rot in jail and some to move mountains. I'd be willing to bet that Shinnecock is coming aboard sometime after the tournament sir.

  I would have loved to had had Shinnecock Hills but didn’t really expect to get it. Shinnecock Hills is one of the founding clubs of the USGA and the only one that still gets the U.S.Open. I am pretty sure they told WGT/Top Golf no way you are shooting our course and WGT and the USGA did the best of course to keep the VUSO alive. They didn’t want a repeat of not having  a VUSO  like they had with The Open losing it after only 2 years.
